The Author

N.N.E.B. CertEd.- Lia, has worked with children for over twenty years in various schools, hospitals and special units, before lecturing in Child Development and Education in several colleges. This has given her a thorough grounding for knowing what children relish. She is also a Grandmother of five; who 'guide' and inspire her adventure ideas.

She enjoys religious history and anthropology and believes there is more to life then we will ever know or could imagine. She combines this belief into her Legend stories. She has just finished the second novel in 'The Legends' series called The LEGENDS and saving the Rainforest Orchid. Lia also had published on Halloween 2008 Nanny's Babysitting Adventures, a book of four stories for 6 - 9 year olds with jokes, activities and drawings to colour in. Lia is currently working on young reader adventure books in between doing book signings, talks and workshops in schools and bookshops around the country.
